Summertime

*sigh* I had such high hopes for relaxing days. frolicking in the pool with the kids. reading lots of great novels as a family. finally starting to learn the guitar. lazy mornings and happy kids. *sigh*

I suppose that the good thing is that this summer has been fun. Really fun I think. . .

We went to 2 family reunions
We went to 1 wedding
We saw 18 siblings (that's not even including sibling-in-law's)
We played with lots of cousins
We went to 1 water park
We ate at 10 different fast-food restaurants
We hosted 4 house guests
We went to 3 different beaches
We stayed in 7 different houses
We drove 5000 miles

AND IT'S ONLY BEEN ONE MONTH!

so much for relaxing . . . 

I s'pose there will still be time for that. Hopefully

    Can't wait to hear more, and to see pictures from all of these amazing adventures! You must post something of Caleb soon. In my mind he is still about 9 months old :)

    Driving 5000 miles in a month is definitely not relaxing. But at least you got your awesome big sister to ride along for 1000 of those miles :)
